Tom & Crystal Capps have served together in ministry for over 50 years. Their journey began as childhood sweethearts and led to their marriage in 1979 followed by two children and six grandchildren.

They have served churches in NC and SC in leading worship, children and youth ministry, discipleship and missions. In 2007 Tom and Crystal followed God’s call to community missions.

Tom began serving as a Missions Director with Greer Baptist Association and Three Rivers Baptist Association helping churches to train leaders and mobilize members to serve in their communities and around the world.

Crystal began serving as a Mission Service Corps missionary with the North American Mission Board, leading Compassion Connection, a ministry to senior adults who live alone without the support of family or friends. She also served as worship leader for Victor Baptist Church in Greer, SC for 14 years.

Tom retired in 2022 to launch Invested Life Ministries to encourage and equip retired adults to invest their lives to make a Kingdom impact in their communities and the next generation. Crystal retired in 2023 from Victor Baptist Church and continues to connect churches to senior apartment communities across Upstate SC to show love and share Christ.
